Smirk of the
Day:
Knot What You Think - A string walks into a bar with a few
friends and orders a beer. The bartender says, "I'm
sorry, but we don't serve strings here." The string walked
away and sat down with his friends.
A few minutes later
he walked back up to the bar and ordered a beer. The bartender,
looking a little exasperated, says, "I'm sorry, we don't
serve strings here." So the string goes back to his table.
Then he gets an
idea. He ties himself in a loop and messes up the top of his
hair. Then he walks back up to the bar. His friends think that
he's crazy. So, he orders a beer. The bartender squints at him
and says, "Hey, aren't you a string?" And the string
says, "Nope, I'm a frayed knot."

At The Top
Big Gig: 125
GHz Mac?
- An error has appeared on Apple's web site when viewed with
Windows browsers. For about a week there has been an alt-text
saying "Power Mac G4. All dual processors starting at just
US$1,699. Dual 125 GHz now shipping." Of course, the correct
number of Gigahertz is 1.25 for the top of the line G4 duel processor.
An html check verifies the typo, but the typo does not show up
in most Mac browsers. DARN!!!

DON'T GET FRESH!
A State Trooper
pulls a car over on a lonely back road and approaches the blonde
lady driver.
"Ma'am, is
there a reason that you're weaving all over the road"?
The woman replied,
"Oh officer, thank goodness you're here. I almost had an
accident! I looked up and there was a tree right in front of
me. I swerved to the left and there was another tree in front
of me. I swerved to the right and there was another tree in front
of me!"
Reaching through

"Ma'am...that's your air freshener.
TOO MUCH WORK
Two confirmed bachelors

"I got a cookbook

"Too much fancy

"You said it.
Every one of the recipes began the same way -- 'Take a clean

CHESS NUTS
A group of chess

"But why?" they asked, as they moved off.
"Because,"

"Well, the

"Oh, that's

"Give me two

"Well, for

Things That Make
A Gorilla Go HUHHH?! -
R. Westby
Why is it that when
programming errors, which would normally require one day to find,
will take five days when the programmer is in a hurry?
Is progress made
by lazy men looking for an easier way to do things?
If you are given
two contradictory orders, should you obey them both?
If you are running
for a short line, why does it suddenly become a long line?
If you can smile
when things go wrong, do you have someone to blame?
If you were worried
about being crazy, don't be overly concerned. If you were crazy,
you would think you were sane.
What if there were
no hypothetical questions?
AND REMEMBER . .

pinching them is probably a joke that gets old real fast.
