Monkie News

Monkie Bums - Yuppers! We're still being bums this week and lazin' around the Monkie vines. It will be nice to return to our regular schedule which, by-the-way, begins next week. Other little surprises will appear later this week along with some new GUI goodies for your eye candy addiction. We've added a Holiday greeting to the Gallery and some pics that didn't get put up in time for Christmas. And if you're like this monkie, Christmas is a welcome theme all year 'round! Check 'em out!

New GOO!

Seasons Greetings - With the craziness that this Christmas season brought to the Monkie Den, we thought we'd share a little "extended" Christmas during a bit more peaceful time where one might actually enjoy it. Let's peek!

New Desktops! - From James Naylor we have a couple of Christmas pics that didn't get posted before the Holiday: New Mrs. Claus and New Mrs. Claus 2. These great pics show off the sophistication of Santa's better half!

MacMonkies' resident Queen of the Kitty Hill and tom boy "slugger" - Wobbles would like to wish you a season greeting with her very own portrait titled Happy Holidays.

And the Holidays wouldn't be complete without an appearance from the other big wig - Big Tig! Tigger wishes you the very best with Season's Greetings. Enjoy!

Community News

Mikawares - Mr. Michele Bugliaro updates Mikawares with a new article titled The Bad Debunked. It also appears as though Michele has been sprucing the place up a bit. For GUI goodies and so much more, stop by Mikawares and check 'em out!

Monkie Stuff! - Woo hoo! Hope everyone had a splendiferous Christmas!Monkie Editor Time off can be a WONDERFUL thing. But I can honestly say that I missed all of you. Shhhhh! Don't spread that around. It might ruin my reputation! =) Anyhoo, this week will be another short week with another Holiday stuck right smack dab in the middle. However, there will still be updates this week. We do have some GUI goodies scheduled for later this week and some other neato keen surprises. Keep them GUI eyes peeled and you're sure to catch a glimpse.

As for today, we've added some recent Software Updates and news across the net. Let's get to it!

Monkie News

MonkieClausMore New Music 'n' Stuff! - A teacher friend of mine from Nebraska was in need of music for a Christmas program to be performed but her young students. I was asked to put some background music for the kids to sing to. I thought I would share my short arrangements of these "traditional" Holiday tunes with you.

There are two sets of three songs. Set A contains Jingle Bells, Joy To The World, and Oh Christmas Tree. Set B contains Silent Night, Unknown, and We Wish You A Merry Christmas. Both sets can be picked up at our Music Download Page.

Finally, starting Christmas Day, we will be taking some time off. However, rumor has it that a few more Christmas goodies may find their way into the monkey barrel. You are welcome to swing by and hang out for a while over the Holiday. If I don't see ya then, I'll See ya later! Merry Christmas!

New GOO!

Monkie Days of Christmas: New Music and Desktops - We have quite the variety of Christmas Pics and a very special song from Rampant Mac's Mr. Scott Chitwood. Without further Monkie doo, let's do it!

NEW Music - We couldn't be more pleased than purple peach and papaya punch to premiere a wonderful song by Rampant Mac's master of madness -- The Christmas Blues. Mr. Scott Chitwood and The Wild Housecats wish you a Merry Christmas with this must-have bit of tuneage that is sure to add jingle to your Holiday stockings. Hurry over to our Music Download page and grab a copy of this great song by Scott Chitwood and The Wild Housecats.

Santa BearNEW Pics - This week's picture edition is quite the oddball collection, but nonetheless festive! We start out with 2 non-desktop pics from a MacMonkies reader James Naylor that are sure to make you smile: Santa Bear and Mrs. Santa Bear.

Please accept my apologies to the author of these fine pics as I have misplaced their name and e-mail. If you are the photographer, drop me a line!

Updated! Thanks to James Naylor for fixing my memory problem and sending some awesome pics!

Next up we have another fine selection from Rampant Mac's Scott Chitwood with Tannenbaum 2001. Love them Christmas colors!

Finally, for all of you who have a less than successful time at finding a smile during the Christmas Holidays, we dig out an old pic from the Monkie Archives titled Scrooge. Tigger (the real boss at MacMonkies) will kick your butt (and mine) if you don't have fun. Enjoy!
