BUGS
My computer never has bugs. It just develops random features!
CERTIFIED CRAZY
Two doctors opened an office in a small
town. They put up a sign reading: "Dr Smith and Dr Jones,
Psychiatry and Proctology."
The town council was not
too happy with the sign, so the doctors changed it to:
"Hysterias
and Posteriors."
This was not acceptable either, so
in an effort to satisfy the council, they changed the sign
to: "Schizoids and
Hemorrhoids."
No go! Next they tried "Catatonics
and Colonics." Thumbs
down again.
Then came, "Manic-Depressives and
Anal-Retentives."
But
is was still not good! So they tried:
"Minds and Behinds"
"Nuts and Butts"
"Freaks and Cheeks"
"Loons and Moons"
None worked.
Almost at their wits' end, the doctors
finally came up with a title they thought might be accepted
by the council: "Dr. Smith and Dr Jones, Odds
and Ends."
APPROVED!
NOBEL PRIZE
Q. Why did the farmer win the nobel prize?
A. Because he was
outstanding in his field!

The A Team: Apple And Amazon - Amazon has been
eyeing the iTunes Music store. The company has considered selling
digital downloads, and they are looking into licensing the
lucrative store in order to sell songs. If they can strike
a deal, it could mean a lot more exposure for Apple to a wide
range of audiences. The offer will seem even more optimistic
once the iTunes store is available to Windows users as well.
Current negotiations may also lead to future collaborations
between the A team, such as Quicktime downloads at Amazon.

Yippee-I-Ay Cow
Pattie - Technology
training is a gas in Africa! It is powered by methane gas which
is produced
by cow manure. For example, the refugee training school in
Mtabila is fueled by the twelve cows pasturing out in the backyard.
Their manure is thrown into the generator and provides eight
hours of electricity a day to run the computers. Afterward
the manure is thrown on the gardens to help grow vegetables.
From computer to cauliflower, these schools are making the
very most of their resources. - from BBC

Apple's Silver and Gold -
Apple may be known for Titanium, but it is also known for
its silver
and gold among the British
Design and Art Direction (D&AD). Apple is on its fifth
year straight to be recognized by the D&AD, as it was presented
with a silver award for the iMac G4 this year. Bunches of silver
awards have been bestowed upon Apple in the past, and they
even earned a rare gold award for the iPod last year. Everyone
may wish for silver and gold, but Apple is getting gobs of
it! - from PC Pro
I Want My Meow
TV -
Friends of furry felines have witnessed their cats watching
the TV screen. Meowers seem
to enjoy moving pictures as much as their masters do! Last
Friday night cats had their own show to stare at, complete
with visually stimulating videos of squirrels and fish. This "Cat-urday Night Live" featured cat yoga and offered
a cat CD featuring songs such as “Mice, Mice Baby.” The
creation was catered to cats courtesy of Meow TV, and there
are currently
a few more musings in the making. - from Ananova
