Do you know what a wok

It's something you throw

THE TEST
A lawyer, an engineer
and a mathematician were called in for a test. The engineer
went in first and was asked, ''What is 2+2?'' The engineer
thought awhile and finally answered, ''4.''
Then the mathematician
was called in and was asked the same question. With little
thought he replied, ''4.0.''
Then the lawyer was
called in, and was asked the same question. The lawyer answered
even quicker than the mathematician, ''What do you want
it to be?''
Sounds
like Bill Gates!
SAY CHEEZE
What's the longest word

Smiles.
Why?
Because there's a mile
between the first and last letters.

Monkey See Success, Monkey Do -
They say that mimicking someone is the sincerest form of flattery.
Well that
would mean that Microsoft, AOL, Yahoo and Amazon are all in
awe of Apple when it comes to the iTunes Store. These companies
are all coming up with ways to copycat the titanic tune-downloading
tool. The success of the iTunes store speaks for itself, but
the fact that all these big name followers are lining up to
join in that success really shows that Apple got it right.

Computer Store Goes Mac - Old time store The
Computer Store is changing its name to The Mac Store. It opened
in Oregon as a small business in 1974 and has since escalated
into an expanse of six stores. Most of the merchandise sold
has leaned toward the Mac platform, so the company has decided
to rename the store to reflect the preferred platform. Though
Apple retail stores have recently opened nearby, management
has maintained that their name change has been a long time
in the making. - from MacCentral

dog's cross-eyed, is there anything you can do for him?"
"Well," says the vet, "let's have

eyes, then checks his teeth. Finally, he says, "I'm going
to have to put him down."
"What? Because he's
cross-eyed?"
"No, because he's
really heavy!"

Monkie News New Monkie
Poll - Once again, it is time
for some semi-useless information! Far out! So let's
look into a new Monkie Poll and last week's results.
Drum roll please!
Last
week we asked: What
is considered to be the best Rock 'n' Roll Album of all
time? Here's how
you responded:
Pink Floyd Dark
Side of the Moon 29% - You're addicted to correspondence!
Led Zeppelin
IV 25%
- Any relation to Mr. Gates?
The Beatles
Revolver 22%
- As long as it's not Monkie dip.
Michael Jackson Thriller 13%
- Break out the eye lid toothpicks!
Andy Griffith Greatest Hits 10%
- What's a TV?
Though opinions are hard to gauge and record
sales make a totally different statement, The
Beatles Revolver was voted the best Rock and
Roll album of all time by VH1's
list of the 100 greatest albums. Pink Floyd's came in at
#51, Michael Jackson's Thriller is #23, and Led Zeppelin IV
and Andy Griffith didn't make the list. Nirvana's Nevermind
was #2. VERY interesting! For this
week's Monkie
Poll, we ask a simple but perhaps loaded question: What
do you think of Apple's New iPod? Cue
us up with a little click,
look to your right, and let us know. Play that funky
music, iPod!!

CHESS NUT
A group of chess enthusiasts
checked into a hotel and were standing in the lobby discussing
their recent tournament victories. After about an hour, the
manager came out of the office and asked them to disperse. "But why?," they
asked, as they moved off.
"Because," he
said, "I can't stand chess nuts boasting in an open
foyer."
MICRO-HOOVER
The day Microsoft will
make something that doesn't suck is probably the day they'll
start making vacuum cleaners.
HIGH STEAKS
I went to the butchers
the other day and I bet him 50 quid that he couldn't reach
the meat off the top shelf. He said, "No, the steaks
are too high."
